Draw Something Weird Every Day
Learn how starting a 10 minute daily drawing habit can improve your mental outlook.
Draw more. Feel Happier.
In this class we’ll lay the foundation for starting a 10 minute daily drawing habit, in which the goal is not to draw well, but to draw weird.
Whether you're a working creative or someone who hasn't drawn since they were seven years old, you’ll discover that having a daily drawing habit is good for the brain!
Join me (animator and illustrator, Ryan Taggart) as I guide you through my own daily drawing habit, and how daily drawing changed my life, pulling me out of the dark abyss of endless doomscrolling.
Together, we'll explore the amazing super power of creativity that resides in us all. We'll learn about how creativity as a habitual practice brings immeasurable mental health benefits. I'll also give you tips and tricks on how to grow and maintain a creative habit, different ways to share your work, and a variety of ideas on how to push your habit to the far reaches of the known multiverse.
By the end of this course, you'll see how creativity is essential to your well-being.
As a class project, you'll draw something weird for 10 minutes a day. From that point on it's up to you to keep the creative juices flowing.
So grab a paper and pencil and prepare to get weird with it!
