The program itself focused on nine different topics that all mid-lifers grapple with including purpose, connectivity, and experimentation. The team was tasked with creating an animation would introduce each.

The Experienced Leaders Initiative (ELI)

Module #03 Generativity

Module #02 Purpose

Module #07 Resilience

Module #01 Longevity

Module #08 Renewal

Module #05 Experimentation

Module #03 Connection

Module #06 Transition

Module #09 Forward

Stylistically, we explored the idea of simple shapes representing each of these topics. Each shape had to feel expressive and alive. I used a combination of After Effects and Callipeg for the 2D animation; and Adobe Illustrator for the designs.

Early Sketches

Each character was designed with a unique shape that embodies the main idea of each lecture.
